It is built in one of the most impressive landscapes of the region, on the edge of the Vikos Gorge. The church of the convent was built in the 15th century by the lord Michael Voevodas. In addition, its paintings were made during the 15th, 18th and 19th century. The image of St Paraskevi in the temple was made in the 17th century.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<script async is following the footsteps of the Greeks who were chased by the Turks and found refuge in vaulted caves above the ravine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-2
