Also, in the center of the village there is one of the most interesting monuments of Zagori. It is the church of St. Nicholas which was build in 1793. Its unique murals inside it were made by famous painters from Kapesovo with clear western influences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<script async=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-6914861690313656\" crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display:block; text-align:center;\" data-ad-layout=\"in-article\" data-ad-format=\"fluid\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-6914861690313656\" data-ad-slot=\"6494896283\"><\/ins>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Furthermore, these artists painted countless temples or icons and gild many temples in northern Greece. It is also the homeland of <strong>Ioannoutsos Karamesinis<\/strong> (provost of Zagoria who also had power and influence in Turks and Christians).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today the residents are involved in the production of traditional products such as honey, dairy products, derivatives of the grape as must cookies, zmpeki (nut to rope with jelly), liqueurs, spoon sweets, spices etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Finally, in recent years, many inhabitants work in tourism and have created several traditional accommodation units as well as shops with food. and folklore museum (among the exhibits there is also one of the few \u2013 three or according to some others four \u2013 original copies of the Charter of Rigas Belestinli).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure
