It is built on the <strong>northwest slopes<\/strong> of <strong>Smolikas<\/strong> and until <strong>1953<\/strong> it was called <strong>Kerasovo<\/strong>. The village is situated at an <strong>altitude<\/strong> of <strong>1.046m<\/strong>. beside the tributary of <strong>Sarantaporos<\/strong>, <strong>Vourkopotamos<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure
